My Companion: A Trusted Friend

My Companion is a project with a vision of supporting Muslims in improving themselves in the core practises of islam, including Quran, Prayer, Fasting and Charity. This is a passion project constructed by muslims who have a long term vision.

Features Include:

Quran- The entire Quran is made accessible with the options to be read in English, Arabic, or both in a side-by-side format. Additionally, a random verse is highlighted each time the app is launched, providing daily inspiration and reflection.

Prayer Times- Keep on top of the prayer times with our precise and adaptable prayer time feature, that is calculated based on your specific location. The app dynamically adjusts for changing times and seasons, keeping you up-to-date with accurate Salah timings no matter where you are. We also offer the option to tailor the time of the Asr prayer based on your prefered school of thought.

Qibla Direction- A Qibla compass is included to help you work out the exact direction of the Kaaba. Whether you’re at home, traveling, or exploring new places, you'll always be oriented towards the Qibla.

Fasting Tracker- Whether for Ramadan or additional voluntary fasting days, your fasting is simplified with the Fasting Tracker. This page allows you to effortlessly plan and monitor your fasts by allowing you to easily to keep a log of all your intended or completed fasts. With the Fasting Tracker, you can also set timers for your starting and ending your fasts according to your personal schedule, offering flexibility beyond the traditional Suhoor and Iftar times, to suit your unique needs and preferences.

Zakat Calculator- Simplify the process of fulfilling your zakat obligations with our out of the box Zakat Calculator. This feature helps you accurately calculate your Zakat, based on your assets, income, and liabilities. Whether you need to account for savings, investments, or personal wealth, the calculator provides a clear and precise way to determine your Zakat liability. Tailored to accommodate various forms of assets and personal financial circumstances, the Zakat Calculator ensures you meet your religious duties with ease and confidence.

Sadaqah Tracking- Enhance your sadaqah efforts with our thoughtful Sadaqah Tracking feature. This tool allows easy monitoring of your Sadaqah (voluntary charity) contributions, helping you keep a weekly log of the money you have given. At the end of each week, the tracker resets to zero, encouraging you to out perform your previous week’s donations to motivate increase. The Sadaqah Tracking feature helps you stay motivated and mindful of your charitable giving.
