My EMF is an intuitive ad-free app to monitor and visualise electromotive force caused by electric and magnetic fields around you.

Most of us are used to the electronic conveniences of modern life. But few of us are aware of the possible health risks presented by the gadgets that make our world work.

Our power lines, cellphones, microwaves, Wi-Fi routers, computers, and other appliances send out a stream of invisible energy waves. Electric and magnetic fields (EMFs) are produced anywhere electricity is used, including at home and in the workplace.

You can use My EMF to check the intensity of these fields around you so you can decide to stay in healthy environments.

Tips:

You may calibrate the detector by moving the iPhone in the form of an 8.

Note: This app will not work on an iPod Touch, since it does not have a compass hardware.

This apps uses the magnetometer to measure the magnetic field when the iPhone is placed near feromagnetic metal objects.
