My Welly Walks

To check the Demo routes, please use activation codes witcdemo (accommodation providers) or dwtdemo (visitor centre, venue, nature reserve, etc) or ask your host, venue, attraction or accommodation provider for an activation code for their routes. Once downloaded, there is no need for an internet connection.
My Welly Walks is an app designed for guests and visitors who want to explore a location without the need to research routes, get maps, or use any kind of guide. With My Welly Walks app, they can get more from their visit or stay with any accommodation provider, visitor attraction, venue or host and enjoy an enriched experience. By capturing the local ‘insider’ knowledge of the hosts, visitors get a unique perspective and hosts don’t need to spend time telling visitors where to go and how to get there.
Our mission is to increase guest and visitor enjoyment through adventure, discovery and inspiration. We aim to help Hosts and venues to easily share unique knowledge of their area and reinforce their branding by adding value to their visitor’s experience.
Our dynamic platform enables hosts, venues, wildlife trusts, holiday cottages, hotels, visitor attractions to create and deliver their own branded routes to their guests and visitors. Hosts can update and change their routes through a simple easy-to-use admin panel. Technical improvements and enhancements to the app are automatically updated at no cost to the host. The system also enables hosts to reinforce their brand with their visitors and guests, at an extremely low price point. All hosts, and their routes, are listed on our web site.

My Welly Walks delivers routes specific to the host, location, attraction or venue and includes:
• An overview of the route with description, approximate distance, etc
• Route steps, photos and description
• Interesting content with photos at each step (nature, wildlife, history, culture)
• A History section so you can go back and review your steps
• GPS navigation
• Picture challenges for added fun
• A guide on how to use the app

My Welly Walks includes personalised content from your host:
• Host branding with logo
• Information about the provider/host/accommodation including links to their web site, contact details, newsletter sign up link, marketing information, etc
• Other local tips the host wishes to share with the visitor
• Personalised content designed and created by your host

My Welly Walks routes:
• Nature reserves, visitor centres and other attractions
• Direct from accommodation providers such as B&B’s, hotels, holiday cottages, glamping sites to nearby pubs and restaurants, countryside walks, cultural locations, and other local places recommended by your host using their ‘insider secrets’ of their area
• Routes around city parks and gardens
