Are you struggling to support an elderly loved one as they become more frail? Do they live a distance away from you? Do you have lots of competing obligations?

The Myfolks app is designed to enhance the lives of older adults by facilitating companionship, social engagement, and support. This is booked via the easy to use Myfolks app. You can arrange support for them on your phone or tablet really easily, at your own convenience.

We visit your loved one in person, as arranged via the app.

You can arrange visits for your elderly loved ones at a time to suit your family. You can book different categories of visit - urgent, recurring or one off.

You can be updated on progress and outcome of the visit.

You can tell us about your loved one, eg "they're not quick on their feet so you may need to wait a few minutes at the door.". You can tell us what you'd like us to do eg "please check there's no food in the fridge past its use by date".

You can securely provide the address for us to visit and safely make payment. Myfolks doesn't hold any payment information. It goes directly and safely to a payment card provider, so you don't need to worry about improper use of your card information.

Our app is designed to be simple to use and it has been designed to accessibility standards.

Of course the Myfolksers, who are paid to deliver the service to your loved ones have an enhanced DBS police security check. We take up references and all Myfolksers adhere to our Code of Business Principles. We aim for consistency in the Myfolksers allocated to you.

With a focus on prevention, Myfolks bridges the gap between isolation and meaningful connection, ensuring that elderly individuals feel valued, included, and supported in their daily lives. Research shows that social isolation is as dangerous as smoking 15 cigarettes per day.

We can support your loved ones to be more connected in a number of ways. We can take them to a hospital appointment. We can take them to visit a partner who is in a care home; we can support hospital discharge; we can do a crossword, share a sweet treat; listen to your loved one's favourite music. We can provide additional support so you feel confident to go on a much needed holiday and we can keep your loved one company over bank holidays, Christmas Day etc. Our visits are a minimum of one hour, but you can book longer visits.

We don't provide personal care.
