MyGear

MyGear is a social networking platform focused on discovering, sharing, and recommending sports equipment. The platform is for anyone who engages in kit-intensive sports, such as skiing, snowboarding and tennis.

Through the app, users can store their sports equipment online and update them with useful information such as usage, date of purchase, reviews, and performance. Users can share, either with their friends or publicly, images and videos of activities they have completed with their equipment. They can also discover equipment ideas from their friends or the wider social platform and use this network of trusted recommendations to arrive at a purchase decision.

The application has a news feed where users can view and interact with posts that have been shared by users in their network. Each user also has a profile page called “My Locker” where they can store and display their equipment items.
