myInotes is a simple notes application aimed at anyone keeping a log, taking minutes, attending meetings or just wanting to make notes. Its built in private hierarchical file system style will be familiar to anyone using a computer. It also contains an FTP server which supports multiple users, accessing different parts of the private file system. Additional features include a picture viewer, four user defined macros and two predefined macros for date and time.


The application has a novel password mechanism which will prevent casual snoopers reading your documents. Individual files and folders can be set for password protection. The password must be entered gain access to files and folders when this has been set. Server activity can be monitored, received and transmitted byte counts are displayed along with session counts and the last command received.


The FTP server can be configured for a number of users each with different attributes. To modify the FTP server configuration the password must be entered. Unicode and ASCII text files formats are supported using the byte order mark. The application can be accessed via Mac or PC as a network drive using an FTP format URL of the such as ftp://username:password@ip-address/ or via any standard FTP client.

The application will prompt the user to save a modified file before closing it as well as saving a modified file on exit if configured to do so.
