What is it about?
“MyLifeInterests” is an easy-to-use application using a simple, picture-based interface that assists individuals with and without disabilities to select career and leisure interests across 11 categories including self-care/sensory, communication, mobility, cognition, leisure, housekeeping, audiovisual, sports, nature, community and work skills. Embedded within each category are a variety of activities which, when selected, generate a list of employment, recreational and leisure pursuits that can ultimately facilitate a sense of balance and fulfilling participation in community life. New activities may be added to the pre-loaded basic choices, and a report can be generated for use in planning appropriate activities for each user.
