Dr. John Beck has been working as a veterinarian for over 35 years. He is involved in a number of organizations, including Victoria Rotary Club, Victoria Chamber of Commerce, South Texas Farm and Ranchers, Texans School Fund, Victoria 4-H, Victoria FFA, and the South Texas Ranch Association. He is also a member of TVMA (Texas Veterinary Medical Association), AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association), and the VISD Emerging Technology Complex.

Hillcrest Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. In addition to our services that we provide for our clients, we also work with local organizations and shelters to help as much as we can! We work directly with Dorothy O'Connor Pet Adoption and Shelter Pets of Victoria as both of their primary vets and even offer obedience classes through DOCPAC as well! In addition to this, we are also a teaching hospital for Victoria College's Veterinary Assisstant Program, having both started and running the program ourselves.
