Screens, tapestries, lampshades and distemper paintings are just some of the mediums and techniques that the Nabis explored in the 1880s and 90s. The exhibition visit is divided into four sections to help you understand just how important decorative art was in their work, along with their desire to break down the barriers between different artistic practices. This exhibition also offers visitors a “musical promenade” as some of the audio commentaries are followed by original musical compositions.
