App Store Description

This app contains a video of the “nasal tip refinement using conchal cartilage grafts” performed by Dr. Yukio Shirakabe. This video is not edited. Recently, more operations with nasal tip refinement or osteotomy are performed than those with nasal augmentation in rhinoplasty for young Japanese people. Because their nasal bones have developed due to better nutrition but their nasal cartilages have not developed, more young Japanese people have humps on their noses. Their hump noses are unique and different from those of Caucasians. This application contains a video of nasal tip refinement using a cartilage grafting technique. Cartilage grafts harvested from the concha are placed between and onto the nasal septum. This video application is not edited.

Warning: This application includes surgical scenes some audience members might find disturbing.
Duration: 90 minutes (approx.)
