Near you simply makes a list of friends Near you. It never reveals your location, just shows if you are nearby or not.

It’s free and without ads. This is a Danish startup project and we’re just passionate about making this a reality. We really believe there’s a need for making locations private again. We don’t believe in check-in services or pinpointing locations on a map. Near you offers just enough useful information without interfering with you or your friends privacy.
