New Jersey Charity Search

This app offers an easy interface that allows users to enter the charity name. A wildcard search is provided to help locate a charity if the full name is unknown or the user wants to identify multiple results to narrow charities down.

Results clearly display the charity, contact information, registration number, report date, total revenue and expenses. An email feature is provided to send the charity details directly from the iPhone.

The New Jersey Charity Search provides a quick and convenient way for users to review and verify charitable organizations and if they're active, suspended, and/or registered with the Division of Consumer Affairs.

This directory only lists information on charities that are currently registered and have met all the mandated registration obligations. These obligations include but are not limited to: the submission of an accurately completed registration statement, including all applicable attachments; and payment of all fees and any other information relevant to maintaining charitable status with this State.

Be advised that this directory is updated monthly while registration information is submitted to the CRI Section continually. Due to the volume of registration information our section routinely receives, updated information can take several cycles to post once it is processed by our office. If a charity does not appear to be listed on this directory, information can be obtained by calling the charitable registration hotline at 973-504-6215 for further assistance.
