NFC Fridge

NFC Fridge allows you to easily read text from and write text to any NDEF-formatted NFC tag. Here is just a taste of what NFC Fridge can do:

* Write text to NFC tags. Each NDEF record can have up to 50 characters, and the total amount of supported records depends on the type of NFC tag you use.
* Read text from NFC tags: Scan any NDEF-formatted NFC tag and view its content!
* Ease-of-use is the number one priority for this app! It is specifically designed so that people with no prior NFC experience can use it.
* Remembers scanned data: If you close the app all currently shown NDEF records are stored on your device. If you re-open the app, they will be shown again. This allows you to scan the tag and take the list with you wherever you go. Note: The data is stored in AppStorage which means it is not recommended to store sensitive data.
* Minimalistic and beautiful: NFC Fridge is a modern app. It automatically adjusts its theme depending on whether you have light mode or dark mode enabled! It makes use of the most up-to-date libraries and tools.


NFC Fridge is privacy first. There are no ads, no trackers, and the only data that leaves your device is the text you write to your NFC tag!

Please note that in order to use this app, you need to own an NFC tag. I recommend the NTAG 216 for its easy-of-use and compatibility out of the box! Magnetic versions of these tags exist and they allow you to attach them to your fridge.

* Mifare Classic and EV1 (only if it was NDEF-formatted already)
* Mifare Ultralight and Ultralight EV1 (only if it was NDEF-formatted already)
