NIHSS MANGO

NIHSS MANGO mobile app is a prehospital stroke assessment tool developed by Razack Intellectual Properties, LLC created to aid first responders screen for suspected large vessel occlusion acute ischemic stroke in the field. It is intended to supplement and not supersede any other resources avaliable to first responders when evaluating potential acute ischemic stroke patients

Neither the use of the NIHSS MANGO mobile app nor the NIHSS MANGO prehospital stroke evaluation will ensure sucessful stroke diagnosis and management in every situation. Additionally, the use of this mobile app should not considered standard of care, or considered inclusive of all proper diagnostic methods, nor exclusive of other diagnostic methods, nor exclusive of other diagnostic or management methods recently utilized for acute ischemic stroke diagnosis or treatment. The decision to use the NIHSS MANGO Mobile app or NIHSS MANGO prehospital stroke evaluation ultimately rests with the healthcare provider based upon specific circumstances presented by each individual patient.

The NIHSS MANGO mobile app reflects the best information on the diagnosis and treatment of acute ischemic stroke at the time of its creation. Future studies and data may require modifications to the NIHSS MANGO mobile app to incorporate new information or data.
