Nisarga Shoppe, a health food & organic store, opened in mid August 2010 in the Whitefield area. Calling itself an `Alternate Store’ it offers a range of healthier food products that are not easily available at your local supermarket.

The store aims to create awareness and encourage customers to adapt to a healthier approach towards what they eat and use. Healthier food products that are high in fiber, low in fat, use natural sweeteners as well as a range of organic products are stocked at the store, thereby promoting a healthier lifestyle. The product range include different varieties of unpolished rice, millets, pulses, spices, pickles, jams, paneer made from whole cows’ milk, a range of bakery products made using whole wheat flour, ready to cook products, natural sweeteners like organic jaggery, honey, organically grown vegetables, a range of homemade ready to eats, palm leaf products and a range of personal care products like No SLS, No Paraben soaps and shampoos, and chemical free vegan lipsticks, bio-degradable laundry products and much more.
