NISBRE

9th Biennial National IDeA Symposium of Biomedical Research Excellence (NISBRE). This national conference will be held at the Washington Hilton on June 16-19 in Washington, DC.
This year’s conference will be held in person and will be attended by undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, junior and senior investigators, and staff representing all IDeA-supported programs (INBRE, COBRE, CTR, I-RED). The NISBRE2024 will showcase the scientific and training accomplishments of the IDeA program of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). The IDeA program supports scientific centers of excellence and trains biomedical scientists in the IDeA-eligible states. LSU has been awarded the NIH:NIGMS U13 grant (1U13GM143856 “National IDeA Symposium of Biomedical Research Excellence to organize the 2022, 2024 and 2026 conference.
