is especially for NJPW fans across the world!
Create your own custom character, choose your style and appearance, and train to become a
champion. In order to become the best, you will need to defeat the greatest NJPW stars, such
as Kazuchika Okada, and Hiroshi Tanahashi, as well as many more!
Perform over 500 special moves, each carried out in exciting 3D animation. In order to
successfully perform a move, you will need to choose the correct type of move compared to
your opponent at that moment.
Crowd-pleasing matches:
Points are awarded for winning matches. However, additional points are awarded for creating
an exciting fight for the fans. Having a close match, winning with a finishing move, and showing
your fighting spirit all earn extra points!
Weight Divisions:
Work your way up and win the Championship Belt in each division: IWGP Jr, NEVER, IWGP
Middleweight, & IWGP Heavyweight.
Major Events:
Compete in the NJPW’s major events of the year! Showcase your skills against the rest of the
field at Wrestle Kingdom and Power Struggle.
4 Distinctive Wrestling Styles:
Choose your wrestler’s style: STRONG, SUBMISSION, POWER, OR STRIKING. Each style is better
at specific types of moves, and this can be used to your advantage when preparing for your
next opponent.
Reversals:
Each wrestler is allowed to use one Reversal per match. Choose the perfect moment to reverse
your opponents’ move, and swing the balance of victory to your side!
NJPW, or New Japan Pro-Wrestling, is the largest professional wrestling, or puroresu,
promotion in Japan. Puroresu has a unique history and style, which emphasizes a fighter’s spirit
and determination, and features full-contact strikes.
