The NMA is an aid for the clinical interpretation of TCD measurements from the middle cerebral artery.
By entering the key data of a TCD measurement and the patient's age so-called Z-scores are calculated that allow a better interpretation of the signal.
The app suggests a diagnosis best fitting these Z-scores.
Thereby, the app supports clinical decision making in patients on the intensive care or specialized care units.
