NMT MinerSafe App

The New Mexico Tech (NMT) MinserSafe App provides a collection of features that are part of NMT's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The app support self-checking and contact tracing for audiences associated to New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. It is developed with privacy concern in mind, and it's use is strictly voluntary.

The NMT MinerSafe App is designed to support the return to campus activities at NMT. The app allows students, faculty, and staff to participate in the following activities:

1. Contact tracing, through optional collection of location information on the NMT campus

2. COVID-19 Symptom Self Check, through a simple questionnaire which facilitates connection with the NMT COVID-19 Response Team

3. COVID-19 Test Self-Report for voluntary reporting of COVID-19 testing and positive cases to the NMT COVID-19 Response Team

4. Location Self-Report for student, staff and faculty when they check in or check out NMT building.

The MinerSafe app was developed from code licensed by the New Mexico State University's Aggie-COVID-19 app.
