The app automatically runs in the background to help keep the device up to date and synchronised.

If required the app will use the phones GPS to assist in the message location tagging and for emergency situations. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

This app may use Bluetooth Low Energy to synchronise with your vehicles if your subscription allows.
