1. Access course content anytime, anywhere: Using a mobile application allows students and faculty to access VLE content from anywhere there is mobile connectivity. Additionally there is also the facility to view VLE courses in both online and offline modes.
2. Push Notifications: The app will sync with the VLE Calendar and it will send push notifications automatically to the user regarding the events in the Calendar, such as messages, forum posts, assignments, surveys etc. There is an option of turning off the notifications in the Main Menu.
3. Uploading Files: The app allows students/faculty to upload files such as images, audio/ video files, documents and other files directly to their dashboard in the VLE. A Private File section is available to all users, which is their own personal space, where content (images, documents, audio or videos) can be uploaded and viewed later.
4. Easy to use interface: The app supports all interactive touch based features like drag and drop, clear options and the responsive interface makes the app easy to use. The app has responsive User Interface design for phones and tablets.
5. View Courses at a Glance: By using the mobile app students have both an overview and details of course information in one place.
6. Activity Completion: When faculty enable the Activity Completion feature in the mobile app, this helps students to track the progress of their allocated activities from their mobile device. Assignments can also be submitted through the app.
7. Offline Mode: Students can download self-directed learning material, surveys, etc. and complete these offline such that the data will be automatically uploaded to the VLE whenever connected online using the mobile app.
