App Store Description
OnTrack is a new rehabilitation system that encourages you to use your arm as much as possible.
It uses your Apple Watch to track your arm movement, it counts the minutes of movement you complete with your arm during the day – just like a step counter but for your arm. OnTrack helps to keep you motivated throughout your recovery.
OnTrack has been developed by the Helix Centre in collaboration with over 200 stroke survivors and therapists.
OnTrack is delivered over a 12 week program. All you need to do is wear your Apple Watch every day and record your arm movement. You can keep track of how much you have moved your arm throughout the day by looking at the watch or on the app in your phone.
The Helix Centre is part of Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art and is based in St Mary’s Hospital, London. We are an innovation lab working at the heart of healthcare translating research into products that improve health outcomes.
OnTrack uses HealthKit to run your OnTrack activity on Apple Watch as a Workout session.
