Timelines provide a succinct history of the Overlord campaign in 1944 and of the hour by hour events of D-Day itself. Four 'Guided Tours' examine aspects of the campaign in more detail. A Slideshow of all the images provides a number of alternative ways of accessing the images and viewing them with or without text.
As well as many familiar images of the landings by air and on the beaches, many rarely published photographs of the pre-invasion bombing of France, the building of the artificial Mulberry Harbours and the fighting in the Normandy 'bocage' are included. A number of specially drawn maps supplement the text.
