Oyeyku

Oyeyku is an easy & fun app that allows you to collect items with others. Were you invited to a baby shower, a wedding, or a trip with friends? Or perhaps you want to paint your house and ask your friends for help? Oyeyku’s hands-on lists will help you collect everything needed, regardless of the event. Create activities and add your friends to join by sharing a simple link, and start creating your list of essentials. Tick off items as you’ve collected them, track your progress and share comments with everyone involved!

How Oyeyku works:
Setting up your first activity on Oyeyku is a piece of cake. Follow the steps below to find out how to do that and to learn about Oyeyku’s range of functions and settings.

I - Set up your activity
* Add your activity’s title and description. You can also upload a photo from your photo library or by taking a new one with the camera
* Select the right category (trip, gifts, or other)
* Choose the type of list you want to have: a simple checklist, or an extended list
* You can allow other users to add things to the activity
* Start adding items! Add a title, description, a photo or even a specific URL to specify where an item can be bought from.

II - What’s the difference between a checklist and an extended list?
* The checklist option allows you to create - surprise - a classic checklist. Add items, without specifying a quantity. Once that item has been collected by the user, it just needs to get ticked to mark it as collected. Voila!

* For a more detailed and extensive list, opt for the extended list. Here, you can define any quantity or one based on the number of participants. This way, every time a new user joins the activity, the quantity will be automatically adjusted. The same is valid for when a user leaves the activity.

III - Engage your friends
* Invite your friends and other users to join you on your quest of collecting
* Share a link directly (via email, social media, etc.)
* Several participants can collect items simultaneously
* Made users activity admins from the options menu
* You can block unwanted users
* Lock the list to disable edits

IV - Additional features
* As you collect more items, your progress bar will show how close you are to completing the activity. Keep in mind that if someone unchecks an item, your progress will decrease until all the items have been collected!
* Changed your mind about collecting everything on the list? You can still mark the activity as completed from the options menu.
* Use the comment option to chat with your friends as you collect all the items
* Easily drag and drop items on the list to prioritize/order them
* Mark unwanted and unnecessary items as such - let others know what doesn’t need to be collected and can be left out!
