RYB (an abbreviation of red-yellow-blue) is a historical set of colors used in subtractive color mixing. It is primarily used in art and design education.
The CMY color model is a subtractive color model, used in color printing. CMY refers to the three inks used in some color printing: cyan, magenta and yellow.
The RGB color model is an additive color model in which red, green, and blue light are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colors.
RAL is a color matching system used in Europe. In colloquial speech RAL refers to the RAL Classic system, mainly used for varnish and powder coating but nowadays there are reference panels for plastics as well.
A HEX triplet is a six-digit, three-byte hexadecimal number used in HTML, CSS, SVG, and other computing applications, to represent colors. The bytes represent the red, green and blue components of the color.
