App Store Description

IMPORTANT: I have tested Paintulous on an iPad Air and an iPad 2 and it works on both models, but large brushes do lag on the iPad 2. So, the newer the iPad, the better it will run!

Paintulous is not like other painting apps! It’s not better - it’s just different! Different in the sense that it has its own idea of how things should be done! It's not for controlled and detailed painting! It has more of a "surprise me" kinda painting style. If you want to be in full control of your paint brushes, you should not buy this app. There are lots of really great painting apps that are much better suited for “precise” and detailed painting.

But it’s not like you don’t have any control over your painting. You ARE in control of brushes and colors. To a certain degree, that is. You select a brush (shape, size and transparency) and one or more colors and you DO control the path of the brush strokes. But within your selections and settings, Paintulous will play around with the brush, varying the shape, size and maybe color and color off set (depending on your settings) and brush dab rotation. But you’re still the boss of the brush : )

Paintulous doesn’t offer lots of realistic paint tools like pencils, crayons, pastels, markers and “normal” brushes! Again, Paintulous is a little different. It has its own paintulous set of brushes! And 2 line "tools”. And that’s what makes Paintulous paintulous : )

That being said, painting with Paintulous is great, creative fun. And easy! Paintulous helps you create fantastic art! ...the Paintulous way! You CAN paint portraits and landscapes and vases and cars (!), but it'll be the Paintulous way. Take a look at what I’ve created with my app, and you’ll see what I mean.

Features:

- 24 different brushes
- 2 different line styles
- size and transparency settings
- 3 brush rotation settings

And finally, be a part of THE PAINTULOUS WALL OF FAME! Email me your most paintulous painting and I’ll add it to the Paintulous Wall; http://martinecarlsen.com/ThePaintulousWall

I hope you’ll have fun with Paintulous! That’s what it’s made for.
