ParkOut Parking

ParkOut is a user-driven app in which drivers share their parking locations and times when they plan to leave their spots, so that other drivers can see when and where parking spots would become available. When a driver approached his/her car, their car's icon on the map becomes progressively greener. Driver cannot see each other's locations, only the locations of other drivers' cars. Drivers can send anonymous push notifications to request the driver of a particular car to update when he/she is planning to leave their parking spot.

*GPS location sharing is required to use the app. Continued use of GPS signal significantly affects battery life.
*Internet connection is required.

PRIVACY POLICY:
ParkOut collects and stores general account information (usernames, passwords, names, email addresses and vehicle makes). It also stores users' locations and vehicle locations and device tokens for push notifications (if opted in). Collecting these are minimally necessary in order to make the service functional. ParkOut does not share users account information with other ParkOut users or any third party. ParkOut does not share user's personal locations with anyone.
The following is only shared with other ParkOut users:
1. ParkOut shares users' parking locations if:
-a user is believed to be walking back to his/her car,
-a user is not moving and is believed have walked away from his/her car to a significant distance.
2. Users' walking distances and times from their cars are color-coded: green - close-by, orange- far away, red - not moving.
3. When a user is walking back to his/her car, the time it would take the user to walk back to the car is also shared.
4. If a users specifies in how long (in minutes) he/she would be leaving their parking location, this is displayed in the map's annotation details view.
