PBM

Being the PBM implementation measured in terms of Red Blood Cell (RBC) transfusion rate target, the EU PBM Analytics Tool allows you to assess country specific PBM implementation and its benefits to patients, hospitals and public health.

PBM outcomes are estimated based on the relationship between each country’s current level of RBC utilization and nationwide PBM implementation outcomes as reported in scientific literature.

Users may specify country inputs regarding target RBC per 1,000 inhabitants, inpatient age and admission rate, in-hospital mortality rate, length of stay, 28 days readmission rate, hospital acquired infection and AMI-stroke rates.
Five years nationwide outcomes are presented for each country.
