What is it about?

This application will help you to meet one of the most beautiful parks of continental Croatia. It is considered that Našice Park is still one of the most valuable examples of park architecture in Slavonia and the whole of Croatia. Its values ​​were recognized immediately after the Second World War, so it was first legally protected in 1949. Although this large park next to the two castles of the Pejačević family, on an area of ​​about 34.5 hectares, is today impoverished for numerous facilities, we can highlight the Slavonian pedunculate oak. In addition to oaks, the park has many other types of trees and shrubs, so its botanical and dendrological diversity is exceptional. Numerous promenades were stretched through the park, and since it was arranged in the spirit of romanticism in the second half of the 19th century, it followed the principles of the so-called of the English landscape park, so the paths were mostly winding, followed the slopes of the terrain, passing along smaller and larger meadows and woods.
