Behind the App:
PeerOnCall and PeerOnCall Support were developed in consultation with workers in public safety and high-stress workforces across Canada. The original application was developed by McMaster University, in conjunction with The Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) at the University of Regina, and in consultation with public safety stakeholders across Canada. PeerOnCall and PeerOnCall Support have been both operated, and delivered by Stepped Care Solutions since 2024 and continue to maintain a research relationship with McMaster.
