Welcome to Performance Pilates and Physiotherapy. We are a Physiotherapy and Pilates rehabilitation clinic in West Perth. A state of the art centre for wellness and rehabilitation incorporating Physiotherapy, Pilates & AntiGravity Yoga. Our Pilates Practitioners can teach you how to move more efficiently, reducing pain and preventing injury. Concentration and integration of the mind and body are the foundations of the Performance Pilates Rehabilitation and Exercise Programs. The benefits are that your body will feel, look and perform at its best. Our unique program targets the pelvic floor and deep stabilising muscles of the trunk and incorporates efficient diaphragmatic breathing. This ensures that the spine is adequately supported while promoting safe, efficient movement of the entire body and relieving pain. We use specially designed, spring loaded equipment to assist you to correct faulty movement patterns through neuromuscular re-education. Exercises are progressed to challenge strength, endurance and dynamic stability, fully integrating movement of the spine with the extremities to achieve optimal performance. Heard of AntiGravity® Yoga? You can stretch further, fly higher and hold challenging postures longer utilising the Harrison AntiGravity® Hammocks. In small classes run by a Physiotherapist, both gentle and challenging movements allow you to increase your overall health & physical agility, including spine decompression with zero compression yoga – namely, by using inversions or “upside down” hanging, as one of many movements in the class.
