OUR MISSION
Our mission is to make it easier to find a pet purrrfect for you and your family. We work with thousands of shelters, breeders and third party posters unable to take care of their pet anymore. With reviews, badges and ability to talk to the person directly, you can more easily find a pet that fits your lifestyle.

HOW WE BEGAN
Petquest was born in response to the fact that it is so difficult to find the purrfect pet. With so much technology out there, the owners thought there should be a better way to find the one. Once the idea was born, extra features were added to make the experience much smoother and all encompassing.

GIVING BACK
Shelter Alternative to Taking Pets to a Shelter: When someone can no longer properly care for a pet, the last thing we want is for it to be taken to a kill shelter or released into the wild. We want to make sure that when someone can no longer care for them, they can post him/her on Petquest to find a suitable, loveable new family. For this reason, we do not make money from shelter pets posted on our site.

Volunteer Work: Other than offering shelter pet adoption as a free service (aside from the individual shelters’ adoption fees), we volunteer and work with various pet charities across the nation including United Pet Fund (which distributes resources such as pet food, puppy pads, cat litter, and a myriad of essential pet supplies to various shelters and rescue groups).
