The application allows the user to publish the location, time, date, contact information and picture of the missing animal in the event of an animal being lost, simply by using GPS technology.

In the event that a petSOS application user has found an animal, it may also publish the location, time and image of the animal found.

By selecting the size of the radius of the location (10 to 100 km), the application user can control the receipt of notifications from other users about their possible loss or finding of animals.

Example: user A loses an animal. Post location, contact information, and if user B notices is selected within a radius involving user A, user B will be notified that the animal has been lost within its selected radius and will be able to monitor more closely in the vicinity if the animal accidentally appears in and thus can help the owner of the animal, in this case user A, retrieve with the pet.

The application contains all relevant information in the field of operation of shelters and societies in Slovenia. Societies and shelters publish current notices of their activities.

This is the only application that offers comprehensive insight to the user about the area of ​​lost and found animals and up-to-date monitoring of all information regarding the state of pets in the Republic of Slovenia.
