1. Preface
Phakchi is a Thai keyboard with an different input method from the standard Thai keyboard. The key layout is based on the Thai alphabet chart. Thai characters are unique, so it's hard to remember, isn't it?
On Pakchi, the name of the letter is displayed above each key so that similar Thai letters can be easily identified. And the consonants and vowels are separated. Vowel symbols and tone marks are grouped for clarity, and English guide is provided so that ellipsis and abbreviation are not mistaken.
Is there a lot of screen switching? It's okay. Candidate keys are placed in the consonant screen, and the vowel symbols and tone marks that are likely to come next to the tapped consonant are dynamically replaced with candidates, so there will be less screen switching.
I hope Phakchi can become your favorite Thai language tool.
