App Store Description
For children who are dyslexic, it is very important to teach them all of the sounds and rules in a very structured, cumulative manner (this is known as the Orton-Gillingham approach). One of our phonics rules (in the English language) is that if a word ends with the /j/ sound, it must end with a 'ge'.
Also, when the letter 'g' is followed by an 'e', 'i' or 'y' it MIGHT have the /j/ sound, but not always, as in the word "get" for example.
This is a full app with no advertisements. It has two activities; one that shows the 'g' as /j/ sounds and the other is a spelling activity that has a fun activity the student can play after (s)he spells eight words correctly.
This app goes with our Orton-Gillingham based reading program, Blast Off to Reading.
