App Store Description

Are you ever in a situation where a group of family or friends wants to take multiple group photos?

In that case, usually somebody in between pictures needs to go back to the camera and hit the "go" button to take the next picture (while trying not to move the camera too much), and then run back into the shot for the photo. Then they have to do that every time they want to take another picture. And if you have antsy children with you, every second counts if you want them smiling in the photo.

"Photo Wave" proposes to speed up the portrait taking process by having your camera watch for a preset hand gesture from somebody in the shot, and when it sees this gesture, it will notify you by saying, "OK, Say Cheese in 3, 2, 1." It will also send you 2 flashes (if your device has a flasher). It takes a picture right after the second flash, and you can do this as many times as you want. (There is no flasher if you use the front camera). It's as if there was a photographer waiting for your command to take the next picture.

You can also specify how many photos you want it to take every time it sees your gesture, and the pictures are spaced out a couple seconds apart, so each photo looks different (as opposed to the almost useless burst mode you get in most camera apps, where you now have 10 photos that look exactly alike because they are all taken milliseconds apart).

Look at you! Productive you.

Enjoy!
