App Store Description

Offline browsing of multiple Adobe Lightroom catalogues on the iPad and iPhone. Supports Lightroom 6 and earlier.

NOTE: This application is not associated with Adobe Systems, or Adobe Lightroom in any way. Adobe Lightroom is a product of Adobe Systems Incorporated.

Using iTunes sharing, the built-in FTP server or a service such as DropBox, Lightroom catalogue files and associated preview directories are copied to the device, and then may be viewed in PhotoCat Viewer.

Browse by folder, collection, smart collection, keyword or face. Search by metadata or keyword. View a grid, individual image or image with metadata. Email an image preview. View images by GPS location on a map.

This product cannot create Adobe Lightroom catalogues, nor can it modify them. This program is probably only useful if you own a copy of Adobe Lightroom, although a small sample catalogue is included.

This application can browse catalogues containing 100,000 photographs (or more), quickly and painlessly. We support the iPhone 5s and up, and the iPad 3 and up (iOS 9 and above)

Known issues:

Images displayed in PhotoCat are retrieved from previews stored in the catalogue, so the resolution of the image displayed in PhotoCat is dependent on the resolution of the preview stored in Lightroom.

Windows users cannot easily copy preview directories to the iPad. This is an issue with iTunes for Windows. If you are a Windows user (or a Mac user experiencing some difficulty), zip up your catalog and preview directory before using iTunes to copy it to the iPad, or transfer using the built-in FTP server. Do not hesitate to email support if you have problems or questions.

Some smart collections are not supported. Mostly, these include collections referencing dates and times.

Ordering of photos within catalogues may not be the same as the desktop.

NOTE: Unfortunately, this application is available in English only.

This product is not endorsed by Adobe Systems in any way.
