Student BMJ review (March 2011):
"PicturingED aims to help medical students and doctors learn the causes of common emergency medical presentations. The app works on the concept of “visual memory,” – clear associative images are more easily remembered than written information alone. Rather than giving a list of causes to be memorised in rote fashion, the app presens differentials as pictures allowing a more natural and more successful learning technique. The images are clear, vivid and more memorable than a bland written list of differentials."
