Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic is a fun and random roguelike RPG that is a worthy addition to any game collection.

Face tough battles. Pixel Heroes lets players choose three heroes for their team, and then venture forth and accept quests and face off against tough foes. The dungeons are randomly generated and contain a myriad of enemy types, including ferocious foes.

Tons of loot. After each successful battle, you'll have the opportunity to earn experience points, gold, and loot. Everything is randomized, so the loot may be excellent or crap. But there's always humor to be found in this game.

Talk to NPCs. There are a lot of NPCs in Pixel Heroes. Talking to them may get you quests that award you with cool pieces of loot or more money. Make sure to talk to everyone, because you never know what you may get.

What is it about?

Pixel Heroes lives up to its name with its visual style. The game’s packed full of retro, 16-bit pixel art graphics that take one back to the golden days of gaming. There are two ways to display the graphics in Pixel Heroes: Stretch-to-Fit and True Pixels. If you’re on a smaller device, the Stretch-to-Fit works better, and True Pixels is good for larger screens.
