What is it about?
The PlaneAtHand app provides a ready reference for aircraft performance data for selected aircraft models. It is intended to be an 'at hand' reference and as such presents the most relevant data. This consists of the required takeoff distance over a 50 foot obstacle and cruise performance at altitude. The data is that found in the corresponding POH for the aircraft selected. For all other pertinent information, e.g. range, please refer to the POH. The data presented is limited in scope because it is felt that the 'in cockpit' utility is compromised by the inclusion of too much detail that is best dealt with in preflight preparation.
