Plotavenue

Plotavenue is a social media app that aims to foster a better leisure experience.

The Hangout feature

Connects users to leisure places like hotels, bars, restaurants, Cinemas etc. The hangout feature includes the entire ecosystem of: Finding a hangout spot, accessing menus, making order, creating hangout groups, paying for orders, sharing receipts among users on the app. On the hangout details page, one can find:
i). The Hangout menu
ii). Daily/weekly theme
iii). Friends in that hangout
iv). Photos uploaded by hangout admin
v). Photos uploaded by friends
vi). Videos uploaded by friends and admin
vii).Complimentary tickets being offered by the hangout

Clicking the "Check In" button on the detail page of the hangout activates the visibility other features like all the services offered, and cameras to upload photos and videos.

Depending on the services offers at the hangout e.g. restaurant or bar, a user can access their details page through their designated icons. On the details page of these services, one can view menus and make orders along with making payments for those orders.

The services page also lets you create hangout groups that makes group payment of bill much easier. The app also allows users to share bills with users out the hangout or their hangout group.

At the moment bill payment is cash only, with debt/credit card payments to be integrated soon.

The app also allows user to compare two hangout on the hangout list page, with metrics like; price of drinks, entry price, friends, gent/ladies, and total users in that hangout that are using the app.

The Event feature

Connects users to social events like concerts and similar social events. The events feature allows users to find/search for event in their city. It provides all the details about the event e.g. ticket price, location, date.

The Plot feature

Offers a daily planner - under the Plot feature, that helps users to easily manage all their events in one place. One can receive, create, and share plot (events) with their friends. The plot feature is also used to receive event tickets and is equipped with a verification feature for access control.

The chat feature

The app also offers a chat feature to further enhance social networking and communication between users. Users can share messages inform of text, photos, audio and videos among each other Users can also create chat groups. The chat details page also allows users access to the profile of the person they are chatting with. On this page they can manage their friendship and contact status or even just block them.

Features included in the side bar:

Settings: This allows users to customise their app experience by choosing the city, country, which tabs they want visible on their bottom navigation bar or what they would like as their start page. The setting also gives them access to the terms and conditions and the privacy policy.
Profile Page: This allows them to edit their personal details like avatar, username, phone number, the visibility of their online status, email, password, blocked list. It also allows them to logout or delete their account.
Friends: This allows users to view their friends list and manage friend requests
Contact: Here users can view their contact list and find new contacts.
Complimentaries: This gives users access to all the complimentary tickets being offer by Plotavenue.
