Plovdiv'19

Plovdiv'19 is a mobile application that makes useful public information about events related to Plovdiv European Capital of Culture 2019 conveniently available right from the pocket. It intuitively organizes current and future events into lists and interactively displays event places on a map. Plovdiv'19 enables locals and guests of Plovdiv to guide themselves quickly and easily throughout the myriad of cultural events in the city. Additionally, the mobile application benefits Plovdiv 2019 Foundation to reach a wider audience and thus helps the event organizers, artists, and hosts to achieve greater number of visitors to their events.

The goal of the Plovdiv'19 project is to provide public information about Plovdiv European Capital of Culture 2019 faster and easier to the user on their mobile device as well as enhance the user experience with different, convenient and easy to use views of such information so that they can quickly plan and guide themselves to an event of their choosing.

Suppose you are in Plovdiv today and you are looking to find something interesting to do, wouldn't it be convenient and quick for you to just open today's events, or see all the places of today's events on a map? Or you want to visit Plovdiv but you can do so after two weeks, or even two months, would you want to see what events are going on during that time period? Or maybe you want to be able to share an event or a place to someone so that they can reach it more easily? Or maybe you are walking or driving around Plovdiv and want to see what event places are near you by using your GPS location?
