The utilization of this system gives administrators the power to keep track of where students are at every point in the event life-cycle.
Additionally, PlusOne has a social side for students too. Say you're interested in going to a greek house event, but don't know who go with? With PlusOne, you would mark yourself as "interested in going" to that event. Then, members of the host organization who don't know who to take can see you on the list of people who want to go, and invite you themselves.
This social aspect combined with the secure event-planning utility for school administrators allows PlusOne to make events more social, and more secure.
