Popin

Popin has one simple purpose - to let you know how far you are from your contacts and sends you a notification when you are nearby.

Let’s give an example: you are visiting another city and have preloaded details of restaurants, hotels, museums and places of interest into Popin. When you are a short walk away from one of your places, Popin will notify you on your iPhone notifications screen and optionally you can then select turn-by-turn navigation of how to get there.

It imports straight from your phone contacts so it’s really easy to insert new places as you need them, so you can quickly customise it to suit your needs. There’s even a bundled Apple Watch app, too.

Potential uses:

- when on holiday or vacation finding nearby places of interest
- finding nearby friends in another city
- when on business you can find nearby customers
