For seafarers, ports are places of safety, for passengers and shippers they are interfaces between land and sea transport, and for port managers they are a business.

This module considers ships and their cargoes, port management, port finance, civil and criminal law appropriate to ports, port planning, competition and marketing as well as port equipment and port ownership.
