PORTOphone

PORTOphone is a music application that enables the use of of Porto sounds in a musical way, making a combination of illustrations of our iconic locations with sounds recorded on site. In addition to the ambient sounds, the PORTOphone also allows you to hear a set of peculiar and typical expressions recorded in the oldest areas of the city. With this tool we can create our own soundscape from the sounds of the city of Porto.

PORTOphone é uma aplicação musical que possibilita a utilização de sons do Porto de uma forma musical, fazendo uma associação de ilustrações dos nossos locais emblemáticos com sons gravados no local. Além dos sons ambiente, o PORTOphone permite também ouvir um conjunto de expressões e dizeres peculiares e típicos gravados nas zonas mais antigas da cidade. Com esta ferramenta podemos criar a nossa própria paisagem sonora a partir dos sons da cidade do Porto.
