Die App PraepScore 3D unterstützt Studierende der Zahnmedizin beim Erlernen der korrekten Zahnpräparationsformen.
Dazu werden dreidimensionale Modelle von Kavitäten auf dem Bildschirm dargestellt, können interaktiv hin- und hergedreht und von allen Seiten werden. Nutzer*innen entscheiden dann anhand vorgegebener Kriterien, ob alle Präparationsanforderungen erfüllt sind. Nach jedem Kriterium überprüfen die Nutzer*innen, ob sie alle Fehler gefunden haben.
Auf diese Weise sollen Studierende die Anwendung und Überprüfung der vorgegebenen Präparationsrichtlinien einüben, um sie dann auf die eigenen Präparationen übertragen zu können.
