Preampt is a hybrid safety app built to report incidents within the hospitality industry at all levels in an easy and instantaneous way. With Preampt, all venues-- including those who don’t typically communicate with each other-- can keep track of disturbances and ejected patrons preventing further incidences in other hospitality venues in the area.

Gone are the days where venues had to rely upon a printed picture behind the bar or scour the internet for information. Now you can identify and register barred patrons into a mobile app so that you can increase the security not only of your venue but of the community. Be informed in real-time of incidents that occur in venues close to you. Prevent trouble before it even starts. With Preampt, you can even notify local venues of ejected patrons and troublemakers causing mischief in the area who have been kicked out of other nearby venues.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Reporting an incident is straightforward and simple. Any staff on the account can create a new bar listing, simply by creating a new profile, filling in their name, date of birth, the duration of the ban, the reason for the report as well as the nature of the incident. If you
want to get more specific, you can also enter the number of people involved, the genders of the patrons, physical complexion (such as height and hair color), or how they were dressed. Any further details can be uploaded into the identifiable characteristics field. The form takes just a few seconds to fill out, and even gives you the opportunity to add photos helping the next venue identify the offenders prior to entry. (Please Note: When filling out the form, take care not to upload someone’s personal information such as ID details and drivers’ license). Once complete, click “submit” to report the incident. After the report is submitted and approved by the account billings manager, Preampt will send a safety alert to nearby venues.

All profiles created are not shared with any Preampt accounts outside of your venue. Only if approved can the profiles of barred patrons be shared as a document (attached to a safety alert). Sharing and receiving this public information helps strengthen a positive rapport amongst venues by bolstering mutually shared goals of preventing problems before they start, reducing community crimes, and increasing the efforts of security personnel and bouncers to provide protection.
