Primary Flight Display

This app is a primary flight display - also called artificial horizon - as used in modern IFR-certified aircraft. The app derives the pitch and bank from the iPhone's built-in motion sensor and calculates the altitude, as well was the horizontal and vertical speed using the GPS sensor. You can choose to display the information as a primary flight display or neatly arranged in a reduced view featuring only the compass and the raw data.
You can also enable acoustic warning messages for certain potentially dangerous flight situations and set the preferred units for airspeed and altitude.
