Protec Card

Protec.Card is an electronic case that keeps your bank card safe and protects it if you forget it, lose it or it is stolen.
Its aluminium design acts as a barrier which stops the bank card being hacked and thus prevents an unauthorised contactless payment from being made.
The user inserts their bank card in the Protec.Card and connects it to their smartphone.
Protec.Card works via a special app.
If you lose your bank card or it is stolen, so if the card is no longer in its Protec.Card or if the Protec.Card is more than 50 metres away for longer than five minutes, the app triggers an audible alert and a notification showing a map of where the bank card was last tracked.
The benefit for the user is that they know right away if they have simply forgotten their bank card or if it has been stolen.
In this worst-case scenario, the app lets you block the bank card.
App functions:
Detects when the bank card is not present or not in the vicinity.

GPS tracking of the last registered connection between the user's card and smartphone.
Allows the user to block their card as they can be directly put through to the bank's server. Personalisation of comfort zones so as to avoid unnecessary notifications.
